Wolfgang Zuser, born in Graz, received his first flute lessons at the age of 10 years. This was
followed by studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with Gottfried Hechtl and
at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Wolfgang Schulz.
He has performed as a soloist in Europe and Japan (Tokyo Opera City Hall with the Flute
Concerto by W. A. Mozart) and is a welcome guest at Klangforum Wien.
Wolfgang Zuser has been a member of the stage orchestra of the Wiener Staatsoper since 1994.
This results in a lively activity in the orchestra of the Wiener Staatsoper and the Wiener
Philharmoniker.
